When I was playing basketball in high school, it was the norm to be offered a basketball scholarship during your senior year of high school. While in college, you would hear about a player being offered and committing to a school during their junior year of high school.



BUT MIDDLE AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!



Yes it is true. Boys and GIRLS in 8th grade are being offered scholarships.

Girls Basketball Fundamental Boot Camp

I completed my very first Boot Camp on last Thursday. I think it turned out great.

When I first started to tell people about my 4 sessions of training, I had individuals to doubt if anything could get accomplished in such a short period of time. During a span of 4 one hour sessions of training, I had 5 eight year olds who had never shot a basketball on a 10 foot goal. By the end of the 4 week period, they were not only shooting but shooting jump shots not set shots and making them consistently.

I had a 10th grader who took forever to make 10 shots from the elbow positions on the court. To leave the camp with a pretty good jump shot.

So you tell me, is 4 sessions enough time to add a new skill to your game.

If not, add another one at the next Boot Camp.......
